Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC. This full-time night position involves 36 hours per week with a $30.70-$46.05 hourly pay range.

Responsibilities include delivering respiratory therapies, initiating ventilation support, and maintaining patient safety. Licensure as a RCP in NC, NBRC RRT, and BLS are required; PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days are expected.

Qualifications

• AMA approved two- or four-year program in respiratory care.
• NBRC registry eligibility or NBRC exam requirements as per NBRC admissions policy.

Responsibilities

• Promote a cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
• Deliver respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Document procedures and ensure continuity of care with relief staff.
• Provide invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.
