Job summary

Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night-shift, onsite opportunity in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This role delivers prescribed respiratory therapies, performs diagnostic tests, monitors patient responses, and coordinates care with the team.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, a current NC RRT license, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, and is willing to work nights onsite. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is REQUIRED.
• Current North Carolina RRT license is REQUIRED.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are REQUIRED.
• Ability and willingness to work nights is REQUIRED.
• Ability to work onsite in Rutherfordton, NC is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient response.
• Measure lung capacity and analyze blood gases.
• Perform EKGs and provide tobacco-cessation education.
• Respond to codes and emergent situations and provide interventions.
• Educate patients and families on illness, devices, and home care.
• Maintain, stock, and sterilize respiratory equipment and supplies.
