Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC. The role involves weekend nights, providing respiratory therapies, and ensuring patient safety through invasive and non-invasive monitoring.

Candidates must be NBRC registered, hold a NC license, and maintain BLS with PALS/NRP and ACLS requirements within specified timelines. Quality care and teamwork are essential in this hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or satisfies NBRC registry admissions policies.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and licensed to practice as an RCP in NC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsabilités

• Provides respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care and departmental policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support per standards.
• Reports routine procedures to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains competency for point-of-care testing and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Keeps professional knowledge current and supports quality improvement.
• Ensures age-specific care guidelines across age groups.
