Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a per diem night shift (7pm–7:30am). The role includes assisting physicians, delivering therapy to neonatal through geriatric patients, and ensuring accurate documentation of treatments.

The ideal candidate holds a CoARC‑accredited RT program, active Illinois licensure within 6 months, current CPR, and within 24 months ACLS/NRP/PALS. Per diem schedule requires 48 hours every 6 weeks, with 24 weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry-eligible.
• Illinois licensure within 6 months of employment.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association).
• ACLS/NRP/PALS required within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with respiratory therapy procedures.
• Provide therapy to neonatal through geriatric patients as ordered.
• Assess patients to determine best administration method.
• Document treatment and orders per hospital policy.
• Educate patients and families about treatments.
• Monitor patient response, with emphasis on neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control.
