Job summary

AdventHealth in Burleson, TX seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care during night shifts. You will deliver respiratory therapies, monitor ventilator support, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and state certification (RCP, RRT). Prior critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and NBRC RRT credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and delivers respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Interprets evaluations/test results to determine therapy; collaborates with healthcare team.
• Responds to emergencies per American Heart Association guidelines; CPR as needed.
• Operates ventilators and airway equipment; ensures safety and protocol compliance.
• Performs arterial blood gas analysis and quality controls.
