Job summary

The role requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, RRT and BLS certifications, with 1+ year of critical care experience preferred. PRN nights, strong emphasis on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret evaluations and tests for therapy planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Document and charge procedures accurately and completely.
• Collaborate with the team to support patient flow.
• Follow standard precautions and safety regulations.
• Interpret evaluations and test results to guide treatment plans.
• Respond to Code Blue emergencies and provide CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation and airway management as required.
