Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift in Tucson, AZ. The role includes 24/7 respiratory care, diagnostic testing, and ventilator management for high-acuity patients.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• Must have NBRC RRT certification.
• RRT required for new hires after Oct 1, 2015; obtain by 2017 if not already.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care as prescribed by physicians in line with policies.
• Operate and manage ventilators and adjust settings to improve condition.
• Handle equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for respiratory care.
• Perform pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic tests as prescribed.
• Assess patients and document responses; communicate with physicians on care plans.
• Collaborate with staff to develop care plans and address issues.
• May supervise department staff.
• Provide care across varying health care settings within the system.
