Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide adult and neonatal respiratory care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role includes performing ABG, PFTs, ventilation support, and comprehensive patient assessments under medical director guidance. The candidate should be licensed in Texas, NBRC registered, and have at least six months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Texas licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• NBRC registered and 6 months respiratory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol therapy and ventilation support.
• Assess and treat adults and neonates per department policies.
• Perform ABG, PFTs, chest imaging interpretation review.
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Maintain infection control, safety and quality assurance.
• Document treatments and patient responses.
