Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care during the night shift using the nursing process from admission to discharge.

The position requires current nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS certification is preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and a potential signing bonus during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required; ACLS certification current preferred.
• Experience in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for direct patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care in the unit.
• Delegate tasks appropriately according to competency and role.
