Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process across the patient population. The role emphasizes adherence to nursing standards and collaborative care on a 7pm-7:30am night shift with a 12-hour schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an active Massachusetts nursing license, BLS, and ACLS (current where applicable); BSN degree preferred. This role may include a signing bonus per recruitment.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• ACLS certification or recertification may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops, coordinates and reviews individual plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates tasks appropriately in accordance with job description and competency.
