Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring an RN to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process. The role includes patient assessment, discharge planning, and coordinating care across shifts in a night schedule.

Active Massachusetts nursing licensure is required, with BLS mandatory and ACLS current if BLS is not. A BSN is preferred; signing bonus may be available based on interview results.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Nursing licensure required and registered.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• ACLS certification current is preferred if BLS is not current.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, deliver, and manage patient care.
• Perform patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegate appropriately according to competency and job description.
