Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Marlborough, MA area to provide direct patient care on the night shift. You will utilize the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, and coordinate discharge planning with the care team.

Requirements include MA nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS is preferred if not current. A BSN is highly preferred and a signing bonus may be available in some cases.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred if current not held.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessments per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others according to job description and competency level.
