Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process in a 12.5-hour night shift setting in Marlborough.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, coordinating care within the unit, and supervising other staff as assigned. Requires MA nursing license and BLS; ACLS preferred. Signing bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration is required.
• BLS certification is required for all RNs; ACLS preferred for critical units.
• BSN is highly preferred; related certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care within the unit.
• Delegates tasks appropriately per job description and competency.
