Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Iowa or Compact License.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Use a team approach to delegate and coordinate patient care at admission, transfer and discharge.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies and standards.
• Lead and guide patient care personnel as needed and ensure patient safety.
