Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide individualized patient care. You will work a 12-hour night shift, delivering high-quality nursing care with a collaborative care team.

You will follow the Nurse Practice Act and Mercy policies, participate in admissions, transfers and discharges, and maintain clinical readiness with BLS and required trainings. Weekends and holidays may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa or in a compact state
• BLS certification within six weeks of hire
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients of all ages
• Coordinate patient care with the team at admission, transfer and discharge
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and Mercy policies/principles
