Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating care, patient assessments, communicating plans to patients and families, and providing education tailored to individual needs. Strong adherence to HIPAA is required.

Qualifications

• Current professional nursing licensure in IL required.
• Graduate of NLN accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required from American Heart Association.
• 2 years Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plan of care with interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Perform patient assessment and health data collection with the care team.
• Communicate the plan of care to patient, family, and physicians while documenting data.
• Provide patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs and cultural background.
• Support colleagues and participate in professional development and research activities.
• Assist with injections, venipuncture, medications, and IV management as needed.
• Participate in rounds and monitor wound/ostomy/skin care as applicable.
• Comply with HIPAA and transport acutely ill patients when required.
