Job summary

Eco-Bat Technologies LTD in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Refinery Production Supervisor to oversee nightly operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and compliance with quality standards.

You will lead a production team, coordinate workflows, monitor equipment, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime while maintaining regulatory safety and environmental practices. Strong leadership and union-management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience supervising a unionized workforce preferred.
• Experience with metallurgy, material blending, and/or chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of refinery employees to accomplish the refining, casting, and storage of various lead alloys in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
• Reviews production schedules to estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production and safety schedules.
• Interprets specifications and job orders in order to assign duties to workers. Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and the safety and hygiene of the department.
• Trains, communicates, and enforces workplace safety and hygiene policies and methods to employees. Evaluates tasks to recommend safe work methodology.
• Complies with all environmental, health, safety and housekeeping programs.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.
