Job summary

Bunge is seeking a shift supervisor for its Decatur, Indiana refinery operations. The role focuses on safe, efficient day-to-day production supervision, monitoring productivity metrics, and supporting maintenance planning.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure food safety and regulatory compliance, and partner with safety and environmental management across the shift. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in related industrial operations and a degree in engineering, with flexibility for

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent progressive experience: 5+ years in soybean crushing, oil refining, oil packaging operations, or related industrial operations.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including Lotus Notes and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient supervision of day-to-day Refined Oil production operations on the shift.
• Monitor productivity metrics, review operating reports and ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Support plant shutdowns and maintenance activities; participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive Operations Excellence goals.
