Job summary

Indiana Ag Connection is seeking a production supervisor in Decatur, Indiana to oversee Refined Oil operations on the day shift, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will support the Production Manager, monitor productivity metrics, drive continuous improvement, and help with annual plant shutdowns and maintenance, while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical engineering or equivalent experience in oil-related

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering or related field, or equivalent progressive experience of 5+ years in soybean crushing, oil refining, oil packaging operations, or related industrial operations.
Proficiency with basic computer skills and standard office software.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day Refined Oil production operations during the assigned shift.
Support the Production Manager in monitoring and improving plant productivity.
Promote a strong safety culture and uphold food safety and sanitation programs.
Monitor, report, and drive improvements in key productivity metrics and KPIs.
Assist with annual plant shutdowns and maintenance planning.
Provide operational input for continuous improvement and Operations Excellence initiatives.
