Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH seeks a Protective Services Dispatcher to manage emergency and non-emergency calls, operate a multi-channel radio system, and monitor dispatch and security alarms.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in security and/or telephone operations/dispatch (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive, coordinate, and disseminate critical information from calls for service. Maintain radio contact with field units to monitor response and provide support.
• Determine nature and location of emergencies, prioritize and dispatch personnel per procedures; monitor alarms and CCTV systems.
