Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center seeks a Protective Services Dispatcher for night shift to manage emergency and non-emergency calls, operate multi-channel radios, and monitor CCTV and access systems to support hospital safety.

You will document incidents, coordinate with field units, and provide compassionate assistance to patients, staff, and visitors while upholding privacy and confidentiality. This role requires calm under pressure, strong communication, and precise recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of security/dispatch experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, coordinate, and disseminate critical information from calls and alarms.
• Monitor radio communications and CCTV; support field units as needed.
• Prioritize emergencies and dispatch appropriate personnel per procedure.
• Maintain logs of units, responses, and times with accurate records.
