Job summary

AbbVie in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Production Technician I to execute formulation, encapsulation, and packaging processes under GMP. You will set up equipment, monitor performance, and resolve line issues to meet OEE targets while following master batch records.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of general manufacturing experience; basic computer skills; and the ability to train colleagues. Evening/night shifts include differential pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of general manufacturing experience, preferably in cGMP environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues to engineers and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Understanding of quality and site procedures; familiarity with SAP/MAXIMO.

Responsibilities

• Operate line on multiple unit operations per daily priorities.
• Set up, run, clean, and clear equipment per batch records.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment/process issues and perform repairs.
• Train colleagues on equipment and processes.
• Maintain audit-ready production area and follow GMP/ALCOA.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental health guidelines.
