Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I in Tempe. You will execute manufacturing processes across formulation, encapsulation, and packaging under supervision, set up equipment, and resolve equipment issues while adhering to GMP and OEE targets.

The role includes 1st shift days (Sun-Tues with every other Wed) and 3rd shift days (Thu-Sat with every other Wed). You will monitor line performance and drive improvements, with opportunities to train others and contribute to safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues to operations engineer and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs and applications.
• Understanding of QA/ GMP policies and quality standards; willingness to train others.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Team Member responsibilities; follow GMP policies and safety standards.
• Operate on the line to meet daily production expectations and priorities.
• Set up, run, blow, clean, and clear equipment per batch records.
• Perform in-process quality checks and minor equipment repairs.
• Train colleagues on equipment and processes; maintain audit-ready production area.
