IDEX Corporation in Farmington, CT is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to coordinate daily operations in a high-mix, high-volume plant. You will drive execution, safety, quality, and ownership while mentoring a team across multiple manufacturing cells.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, problem solving, and collaboration with Quality and Engineering to meet production schedules and cost targets. Third shift hours begin at 11pm with a 15% differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing outside of Mott, or 3 years at Mott.
• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and methods.

Responsabilités

• Analyze manufacturing and sales order data daily to identify issues, set priorities, and assign personnel across multiple cells.
• Support production by producing or inspecting parts to ensure schedule adherence and quality.
• Collect operational data, identify pain points, and feed improvements to Quality and Engineering.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to achieve targeted performance outcomes.
• Monitor performance and address concerns with documentation as needed.
• Partner with Quality to drive resolution of customer complaints and corrective actions.
