Job summary

IDEX in Brenham, TX is seeking a Quality Lead for the night shift to serve as the primary quality resource and shift leader on PPE's manufacturing operations. You will provide day-to-day direction, technical guidance, and ensure compliance with customer requirements and ISO standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience providing work direction, coaching, or informal leadership.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Proficiency with SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis, and process auditing.
ASQ CQI or CQT certification preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide daily work direction and prioritize activities for Quality Inspectors to support production.
Coordinate inspection coverage and staffing plans to maintain quality support.
Assist in onboarding, training, coaching, and development of Quality Inspectors.
Review scrap performance, MRB activity, containment and escalation actions.
Exercise delegated authority to stop production or hold product when quality is not met.
Lead root cause investigations and support CAPA and corrective actions.
Escalate quality risks to leadership and initiate improvements.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality to drive improvements.
