Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Team Leader in Farmington, CT to coordinate daily operations in a high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and align people with production priorities to meet schedules.

The role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and hands-on leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement across manufacturing cells.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing outside Mott or 3 years at Mott.
• Prior leadership or lead-level experience is required.
• Practical experience with continuous improvement tools and methods is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations in a high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Develop team capability and drive execution.
• Support production by producing and/or inspecting parts as needed to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Collect operational data, identify pain points, and propose improvements to cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement projects assigned by the Value Stream Manager to improve performance.
• Monitor employee performance and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Partner with Quality to drive corrective actions and sustain a safe, accountable culture.
