Job summary

IDEX Corporation in Farmington, CT, seeks a hands-on Team Leader for a high‑mix, high‑volume manufacturing environment. You will coordinate daily operations, develop team capability, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role reports to the Value Stream Manager, offers third shift hours (11pm–7am) with a 15% shift differential, full benefits, and paid time off. Prior leadership in manufacturing and CI tools are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 5 years in manufacturing elsewhere or 3 years at Mott.
• Leadership or lead-level experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools/methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations across multiple manufacturing cells.
• Lead CI projects to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor and address employee performance; escalate as needed.
• Partner with Quality to resolve customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Support production to meet schedules while ensuring safety and quality.
