Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is hiring a Production Support Technician to monitor nightly data load processes, analyze and troubleshoot issues, and document incidents. You will coordinate with internal and vendor teams to ensure timely resolution and maintain knowledge base documentation.

Responsibilities include performance tuning of ETL processes, monitoring server health (Citrix, E-mail, FTP, storage, network, security), and applying change control.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Midnight to late morning shift.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including occasional additional days if necessary.
• Knowledge of enterprise solutions using Microsoft SQL Server (2008+), Microsoft Reporting Services or Microsoft Analysis Services
• Experience using enterprise ETL applications such as Microsoft SSIS
• Microsoft Windows Server (2008+)
• Knowledge of SFTP
• Microsoft Exchange (2010+)
• Knowledge of change management
• Technical or associates degree or similar certification or working towards completion of such.
• 1 - 2 years’ experience with IT departmental support or development
• 1 – 2 years’ experience with SQL Server Integration Tools (SSIS) preferred.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database administration preferred.
• SQL Server and Windows Server certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor nightly data load processes and server health.
• Analyze and troubleshoot nightly process errors.
• Log incidents in the Service Desk and record fixes.
• Coordinate with internal and vendor support for issues.
• Document processes in Service Desk and SharePoint for knowledge base.
• Perform process development and enhancements.
• Analyze performance and tune ETL processes.
• Monitor server health during off-hours (Citrix, email, FTP, storage, network, security).
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration, and technical skills.
• Use SQL queries to validate data loads.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Communicate complex problems and propose solutions.
