Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift to ensure safety, quality, and efficient operations. You will coordinate with Safety/Environmental Director, Customer Service, HR, Maintenance, Quality and Master Scheduler to meet daily goals and improve processes.

You will oversee TPM and quality checks, train staff, and manage paperwork in Intelex, with an emphasis on ISO 9001:2015 compliance and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company.
• Product familiarity, including the product structures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to motivate employees.
• Ability to perform job independently.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and stop non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality systems.
• Take action to prevent non-conformities and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Lead Safety Committee in the department and ensure proper accident reporting procedures.
• Ensure safe working environment, housekeeping and inventory procedures.
• Schedule and organize product flow to meet department and branch goals.
• Oversee production, training, and tool provision to staff; coordinate with Master Scheduler.
