Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for our bedding operation to ensure safe, efficient production and ISO 9001:2015 compliance. You'll work with Safety/Environmental Director, Customer Service, HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Master Scheduler to drive daily operations.

Key duties include solving non-conformances, maintaining quality checks, supervising staff, organizing product flow, and ensuring training and TPM initiatives. Evening shift 2:30pm–11:30pm CST.

Qualifications

1–2 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is preferred.
Familiarity with MSDS, OSHA standards and safety programs helpful.

Responsibilities

Identify and stop non-conformances related to products, processes, or quality systems.
Prevent non-conformities and verify corrective actions per the quality system.
Maintain control plans, work instructions and specifications.
Oversee department housekeeping, organization and scrap removal.
Schedule product flow and coordinate with Master Production Scheduler and superintendents.
Ensure proper training, tool provision and adherence to TPM concepts.
Complete paperwork in Intelex and manage inventory procedures including RF scanning.
