Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift to support our bedding operation.

You will lead safety, quality, and production activities, working with multiple departments to keep ISO 9001:2015 compliance and TPM programs, while driving continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company.
• Product familiarity, including the product structures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to motivate employees.
• Ability to perform job independently.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and stop non-conformances related to quality systems.
• Ensure department safety, housekeeping, and TPM goals are met.
• Lead Safety Committee in the department as needed.
• Oversee production and ensure training and tools are provided to staff.
• Schedule and organize product flow to meet department and branch goals.
