Job summary

Mizkan America Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to lead 12-hour night shift manufacturing operations, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will drive performance, develop staff, optimize labor and resources, and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals. The role requires 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, knowledge of HACCP/food safety, and familiarity with ERP systems like Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or consumer products preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety programs, and quality systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations in compliance with safety policies, OSHA, GMPs, and SOPs.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules.
• Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation to meet requirements.
• Drive labor efficiency through workflow planning and scheduling.
• Promote safety culture by addressing unsafe conditions.
• Monitor performance and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
• Lead team meetings to communicate goals and results.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and leadership teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause analyses.
• Improve efficiency, yields, and reduce downtime.
• Manage inventory usage and approve material requirements.
• Develop employee capability through coaching and training.
• Adhere to policies and corrective action processes.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Provide hands-on support to maintain production flow.
