Job summary

KASAI NORTH AMERICA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee Group Leaders and Production Technicians, coordinating with the Production Manager to set and monitor schedules, ensure equipment maintenance, and optimize material use.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, proficiency with Windows and MS Office, and the ability to work flexible shifts. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior manufacturing management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of Group Leaders and Production Technicians.
• Confer with Production Manager and Production Control to establish work schedules and ensure completion.
• Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained for efficient production.
• Utilize materials efficiently and pursue cost reduction and waste elimination.
• Cross-train Group Leaders.
• Oversee use and updates of SOS's.
• Support scrap and cost reduction programs.
• Conduct employee training on equipment operations or safety procedures.
• Oversee cleanliness and order of equipment on the line.
• Monitor attendance and hours worked.
• Participate in performance management including wage recommendations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, 5S practices, regulatory and customer requirements.
