Job summary

StaffBright is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor in Sterling Heights, MI to lead a ~20-person night shift. You will own the night operations, drive production performance, quality, and safety while mentoring the team.

The role emphasizes Lean improvements and real-time data utilization to hit targets and customer requirements. You will coordinate labor, materials, and equipment, monitor KPIs, and enforce safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing leadership.
• Proven ability to drive KPI and performance results.
• ERP experience and ability to pull real-time data for the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the production team to deliver strong performance.
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and customer requirements.
• Allocate labor, materials, and machinery to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor KPIs, production performance, and quality metrics for improvement opportunities.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement across the shift.
• Use ERP data to monitor performance and inform on-the-floor decisions.
• Enforce safety, policies, and maintain a positive team environment.
• Review quality documentation and support company-wide initiatives.
• Track overtime and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive process improvements.
