Job summary

Consultants At Greystone Inc. is seeking a Production Manager for the 3rd shift to lead all night‑shift manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, and performance. You will oversee ~20 operators, manage staffing, attendance, and training, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to improve processes.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on manufacturing leadership, strong communication, and a track record of implementing continuous improvements in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience as a Department Lead, Production Team Lead, Shift Supervisor, or similar role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience with production reporting and manufacturing data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all 3rd shift manufacturing operations to meet daily production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor production performance, efficiency, downtime, scrap, and labor utilization.
• Ensure shift goals are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Provide direction and support to operators to ensure successful operation of equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Escalate and address production issues quickly to minimize disruption.
• Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the shift.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, inspection requirements, and SPC processes.
• Lead, coach and develop approximately 20 production operators.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Manage staffing levels and coordinate cross-training to improve flexibility.
• Oversee attendance management and disciplinary matters with HR.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment concerns and PMs.
• Communicate production status and improvement opportunities to leadership.
