StaffBright is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and develop a production team within a growing manufacturing operation in Sterling Heights, MI. This role will have direct ownership of the night shift, driving production performance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement while leading a team of approximately 20 employees.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead, motivate, and develop production team members to achieve strong performance and accountability.
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and customer requirements.
• Allocate labor, materials, and machinery to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor KPIs, production performance, and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the shift.
• Utilize ERP data and real-time production information to monitor performance and make informed decisions on the floor.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements while maintaining a positive team environment.
• Administer employee discipline and address performance issues when necessary.
• Review quality documentation and support company-wide initiatives.
• Track and administer overtime based on production needs.
• Ensure a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Partner with other departments to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
• Take ownership of 3rd shift operations and serve as the primary Production Supervisor supporting the night shift.

What We Need From You:

• 7+ years of relevant experience preferred, with a strong track record of motivating and leading teams.
• Proven ability to drive KPI and performance results.
• Strong leadership experience in a mid-sized manufacturing environment. Automotive experience is not required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team size and leadership style.
• ERP experience, ability to pull and utilize real-time data for the production floor.
