Job summary

Element Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the furnace department in Forest City, Missouri. This night shift role runs Sunday 6pm through Tuesday/Wednesday 6am, guiding hourly staff and ensuring adherence to SOPs and environmental controls.

You will schedule the furnace team, coordinate with other departments, enforce safety standards, and maintain documentation and training.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hourly production staff in a process environment.
• Ability to plan and schedule furnace department workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic calculations with a calculator.
• Experience with safety and environmental controls in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the furnace department's daily operations and shifts.
• Directly supervise hourly furnace staff and train them as needed.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure continuous processes.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow SOPs.
• Ensure safe furnace operation and report equipment changes.
• Support training programs and company goals.
