Qualifications

• Production background, preferably in a process environment.
• Ability to supervise hourly employees.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the furnace department.
• Direct supervision of hourly furnace staff.
• Train and schedule furnace employees.
• Coordinate with Production, Transportation, Maintenance, QA/Lab, and other departments.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow established SOPs.
• Ensure safe operation to meet goals and quality standards.
• Report changes in furnace operation and adjust equipment as needed.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Maintain adequate furnace levels.
