Job summary

Element Resources LLC operates one of the leading Battery Recycling facilities in the country, based in Muncie, Indiana. This Night Shift Production Supervisor role directs several teams in the recycling process, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on a defined shift.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and at least 5 years of supervisory production experience.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree is a plus.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and development skills.
• Good verbal and written communication, ability to address large groups.
• 5 years supervisory experience in production preferred.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math and measurement understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with TPS/Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations per policies and procedures.
• Train, coach, and lead hourly employees for improved performance.
• Develop and sustain standardized work and procedures.
• Manage shift schedule, training, vacations, breaks, and overtime.
• Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity documentation is complete.
• Maintain visual management boards and follow up on open items.
• Oversee equipment and daily checks; uphold EHS policies.
