Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding its manufacturing footprint in De Soto, Kansas, adding a high-volume 24/7 lithium-ion battery production facility. We seek a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient shift operations and drive continuous improvement in a state-of-the-art environment.

The role requires progressive leadership in a high-volume plant, with strong Lean/6S knowledge and a focus on safety, quality, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; related work experience may substitute.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business/ops/industrial engineering.
• Six Sigma/OSHA certs are a plus; strong Lean/6S knowledge expected.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan, assign, and prioritize work for team members.
• Drive Lean, 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on employee relations and performance issues.
