Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers in Woodland, California, is seeking a hands‑on and strategic Production Operations Manager to join our Woodland facility. You will direct plant operations to meet quality, food safety, and customer requirements in a safe, cost‑effective, and timely manner, including night shifts during the seasonal tomato pack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science field or 10+ years tomato processing experience.
• Able to work night shift 10pm–6am during mid-July to October.
• Weekend work during the seasonal tomato pack (mid July–October).
• Proven leadership in food manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct plant operations to meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Review production costs and product quality; adjust inventories and programs.
• Direct preparation of accounting records and budget recommendations.
• Enforce product safety, quality, and legality standards.
• Communicate Safety, Quality, and Food Safety policies to all employees.
• Lead managers and teams to meet performance goals and sustain culture.
