Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Production Shift Manager to oversee night shift operations at the Cold Spring, MN facility. You will lead plant processing activities, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and work with department leaders to meet production goals.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent management experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or related environment; poultry/food industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; financial & operational acumen; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all plant production and processing activities to achieve safety, quality, yield, and efficiency objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members to enhance daily performance and prepare for growth.
• Administer company policies to maintain high standards for safety, food safety, quality, and employee relations.
• Develop and implement operational goals, objectives, and departmental budgets to support business performance.
• Conduct regular leadership meetings to communicate priorities and review performance metrics.
• Collaborate with USDA representatives and internal support departments to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Oversee employee performance management, including coaching, evaluations, recognition, and corrective action.
