Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding its De Soto, Kansas facility and seeks a Production Supervisor to manage a high-volume, 24/7 operation.

You will lead safe, efficient shift operations, drive Lean manufacturing, and ensure adherence to SQDCP metrics while building a capable, engaged team. This role emphasizes problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field is required; related work experience may substitute.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or engineering fields and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Must have strong English communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions and SWIs.
• Plan and assign work schedules and priorities for the team.
• Drive Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on employee relations and performance.
• Coach and develop team members; ensure safety and quality compliance.
