Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding its manufacturing footprint in De Soto, Kansas. The Production Supervisor will lead a 24/7 high‑volume operation, driving safety, quality, and productivity while applying Lean and SQDCP metrics across shift teams.

The role emphasizes standardized work, data‑driven decision making, and develop­ment of team capability through coaching and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering and HR.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline is required or substituted with relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficient in English; effective communicator with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign work schedules, tasks, and priorities for team members.
• Drive plant‑wide Lean and 6S initiatives and SQDCP metrics.
• Train, onboard, and coach team members; collaborate with HR on performance matters.
• Participate in PFMEA and risk mitigation with Manufacturing Process Engineers; support control plans.
• Maintain safety, quality, and operational standards and escalate issues as needed.
