Job summary

Pella Corporation is seeking a Production Lead for the 3rd shift in Fort Worth, TX. The role directs production employees, communicates management expectations, monitors quality and productivity, and ensures safety compliance to meet daily goals.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing/production experience, prior leadership, and strong communication skills. This position requires the ability to work the 3rd shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or production experience required.
• Lead/Team Lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate instructions from management to production employees.
• Assign and coordinate daily work activities.
• Keep employees on task and focused on production goals.
• Monitor quality standards and production output.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures.
• Redistribute manpower throughout the shift as production needs change.
• Assist with employee training and development.
• Serve as backup for the Department Manager when needed.
• Monitor materials and inventory levels.
• Report equipment, staffing, quality, or production issues to management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
