Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Team Leader for the Northlake, TX plant to manage a 2nd shift (4:00 PM–2:30 AM, M-F) and drive safety, quality, and productivity. You will guide team members, train staff, and ensure proper workflow, FIFO adherence, EDI compliance, and proper labeling while maintaining strong communication with supervisors and forklift operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and certify team members.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions.
• Strong safety and quality focus.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees personnel loading/unloading trucks and verifies counts.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment by team members.
• Train team members on processes and tasks within their zone.
• Certify team members on workstation progression in the skills matrix.
• Track inbound/outbound truck schedules and communicate status.
• Coordinate with supervisor and forklift drivers; verify EDI requirements.
