Job summary

United Petfood Producers USA Inc. is seeking a Lead Production Operator to manage packaging lines and ensure safe, efficient production during night shifts in Decatur, AR.

You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment; perform quality checks; maintain logs; and lead shift huddles while supporting new hires and upholding GMP and safety standards. Strong teamwork and physical capability required.

Qualifications

• Understand plant process flow.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Forklift experience and/or certification.
• Physical ability to lift 35–50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Technical education emphasizing analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging equipment and processing equipment.
• Execute changeovers in Packaging and Processing with proper tools.
• Maintain logs and records during packaging and processing.
• Perform packaging and processing quality checks (e.g., Red Zone).
• Lead shift huddles and communicate production goals and safety topics.
• Train and onboard new hires; ensure line runs smoothly during the shift.
