Job summary

United Petfood Producers USA Inc. is seeking a Production Operator I - Packaging for the 3rd shift in Decatur, AR.

The full-time role pays $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential; work schedule is Monday–Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. You will set up, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment, maintain production records in RedZone, perform basic sanitation, and ensure product quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Ability to work in environments with odor, noise, heat, cold, dust and chemicals.
Standing for extended periods.
Lift 35-50 pounds to move ingredients and finished products, stand, walk, push/pull.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and use basic hand tools.
Experience with or ability to learn computerized equipment (scales, controllers, interfaces).
Read/write in English.

Responsibilities

Set up, start up and operate packaging equipment per production schedule.
Monitor equipment and perform adjustments, changeovers, minor repairs and basic maintenance.
Perform sanitation tasks to meet quality standards and complete rework as needed.
Maintain records and logs documenting packaging process and material transfers in RedZone system.
Conduct in-process quality checks on representative samples.
Disassemble/reassemble line equipment for cleaning or inspection.
Control line setup and changeovers for next packaging run.
