United Petfood is seeking a Production Operator I for the 1st shift in Decatur, AR. The role focuses on safely and efficiently packaging production, operating packaging equipment, and meeting production schedules.

You will be responsible for setup, operation, and adjustments, along with sanitation, quality checks, record-keeping in RedZone, and ongoing maintenance tasks to ensure product integrity.

Formación

• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds to move ingredients and finished product, stand, walk, push/pull up to 50 pounds, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Experience with or ability to learn computerized equipment (e.g., scales, controllers, computer-based operator interfaces).

Responsabilidades

• Set up, start up and operate packaging equipment according to the production schedule.
• Monitor equipment, perform adjustments, changeovers, small repairs and basic maintenance.
• Perform sanitation tasks to meet quality standards; complete re-work as needed.
• Maintain records and logs in the RedZone system for packaging processes and material transfers.
• Conduct in-process quality checks on representative samples to ensure proper packaging.
