Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking a Night Shift Lead to oversee safety room floor personnel from 8:00pm to 8:00am, 12-hour shifts, with two weekend rotations.

The role focuses on safety, compliance, productivity, and quality, while enforcing company policies and cleanliness standards. You will monitor and adjust production, set up equipment, train staff, uphold ISO, FDA, GMP, and OSHA standards, and collaborate with quality, scheduling, and customer service to meet delivery dates.

Qualifications

• Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to lead.
• Ability to read/write English.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA, GMP, OSHA standards.
• Technical background desirable.
• Experience with assembly methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety room floor personnel and monitor shift output.
• Maintain clean/Set-In-Order standards for all work areas.
• Set up equipment and start-up lines with quality oversight.
• Monitor production metrics and ensure on-time delivery.
• Train temporary and full-time staff on methods and SOPs.
• Adhere to clean room processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with quality, scheduling and other departments.
• Record daily production and scrap; maintain lot traceability.
• Investigate material variances and CAPA activities.
• Support 6S Lean improvements and problem solving.
